While this is probably the #1 blog post today in the blogosphere, I thought I’d pitch in as well. At about 10:30pm PST yesterday, I received an email I had been hoping to get for quite some time. (er, 10 days..) w.a.s.t.e sent me a download link, and within a few minutes I was listening to the new radiohead album, In Rainbows. With that said, before I say more, go download it. Pay whatever you want, and go download it.
Once you do though, go listen to it on the radio tonight at 8:30pm on KZSC Santa Cruz 88.1fm. Or online - kzsc.org. Kristan’s new show, aptly named In Rainbows, will be premiering tonight, playing what else - the new album. Some older live tracks too, just to fill up the time. Maybe I’ll put up a review later, but there’s enough of those going around for everybody. Go have a listen.
so much mystery, so much intrigue. I feel like a young Max first encountering the weird and obscure world of Deloused. . . good times. Did you know that W.A.S.T.E. is taken from a Thomas Pynchon novel, most of which Ok Computer (I think it was that one) was based on? It is the secret, underground postal service of the U.S. . . and I thought Thom was British . . . lapdog!

Max | October 10, 2007I love the weekly top charts for last.fm right now. In Rainbows is ahead of everything else an insane amount. Is that correct english? I have no idea.
